Our machines are designed to be intuitive and alert you when descaling is required. Please note that if you have a Zenius machine you will need to turn on the descaling alarm to receive these warnings. If you would like to book your machine in for descaling (charges may apply) please contact Nespresso on 1800 182 206 (toll free).

Intensity is defined by the level of body, bitterness and roasting degree of a coffee. Nespresso coffees can be compared following their intensity on a scale that goes from 1 to 12. A coffee is considered as “intense” when its intensity is above 8.
