This occurs because the machine has entered descaling mode.
For models Inissia, Essenza Mini, Pixie, or earlier versions: While the machine is blinking, hold down both brew buttons for 5 seconds, this will exit the descaling mode. It will continue to blink, but in a paused manner (this is because the machine is warming up). Once the ideal temperature is reached, the lights will remain fixed.
In case of Lattissima and Expert models, please contact us via our WhatsApp channel, Live Chat or by calling Club Nespresso Chile at 800 211 222, since it is necessary to perform a descaling simulation, because the process of these models is automatic. In this case we recommend you to have your machine nearby, to facilitate the process.

Froth results will vary based on the variety, origin, and freshness of the milk. Please follow these troubleshooting tips:
- Ensure you are using the whisk with the metal coil to create more froth.
- Between uses, rinse the Aeroccino with cold, running water.
- If not fully cooled down, the device will overheat (as indicated by a blinking red light) and will not run for the correct length of time.
- Experiment with different milks.
- Different brands and types of milk will produce different qualities of froth.
- Milk quality fluctuates throughout the year, thus results can vary from season to season and even from carton to carton.
- We find that UHT (Ultra High Temperature) milk produces very consistent froth.
- Use fresh, cold milk from a newly opened container (no more than 3 days old).
- Milk proteins break down rapidly after exposure to light and oxygen, decreasing its ability to froth.
- The proteins will also settle to the bottom of the container over time. Shake the container to redistribute them before pouring the milk into the Aeroccino.

When the light on the Aeroccino button flashes red, this indicates that the mechanism has overheated.
The Aeroccino is a thermostatic (temperature sensitive) mechanism, which automatically shuts off when it has reached its maximum temperature.
When overheated, the Aeroccino will not operate for the required time, thus affecting frothing and heating of the milk.
The Aeroccino should be rinsed under cold running water until it is cool to the touch, especially if it is to be used several times in a row. In addition, keeping the whisk clean will ensure proper heat circulation.
