- Between uses, rinse the Aeroccino with cold, running water.

- Experiment with different milks.
- Different brands and types of milk will produce different qualities of froth.
- Milk quality fluctuates throughout the year, thus results can vary from season to season and even from carton to carton.
- We find that UHT (Ultra High Temperature) milk produces very consistent froth.
- Use fresh, cold milk from a newly opened container (no more than 3 days old).

When the light on the Aeroccino button flashes red, this indicates that the mechanism has overheated.
The Aeroccino is a thermostatic (temperature sensitive) mechanism, which automatically shuts off when it has reached its maximum temperature.
When overheated, the Aeroccino will not operate for the required time, thus affecting frothing and heating of the milk.
The Aeroccino should be rinsed under cold running water until it is cool to the touch, especially if it is to be used several times in a row. In addition, keeping the whisk clean will ensure proper heat circulation.
