Once collected, the spent capsules are treated with a system that allows to separate the coffee residues and aluminum. The materials are sent to two different recovery processes. Aluminum is intended for foundries and transformed into new objects, such as pens, bicycles, knives.

3D SECURE CODE
The 3D secure Code was created by Visa and Mastercard, to add a high level of security for online purchases, similar to Chips and PINs in stores. The 3d popup will show the personal message you used when you registered and you will need to enter your 3D secure password. This popup is controlled by the bank from which the card is issued, not by Nespresso.
