The calorie content in an Espresso cup is negligible. There are 1260 Kj (300 Kcal) in 100 grams of roasted and ground coffee.
The Nespresso Espresso capsules contain an average of 5.5 grams of coffee and Lungos contain around 7 grams.
The fact that the ground coffee is dissolved in water means that a cup of coffee contains even fewer calories.
A 40 ml Espresso contains around 0.6 calories and a 110 ml Lungo contains around 1 calorie.

This occurs because the machine has entered descaling mode.
For models Inissia, Essenza Mini, Pixie, or earlier versions: While the machine is blinking, hold down both brew buttons for 5 seconds, this will exit the descaling mode. It will continue to blink, but in a paused manner (this is because the machine is warming up). Once the ideal temperature is reached, the lights will remain fixed.

When the light on the Aeroccino button flashes red, this indicates that the mechanism has overheated.
The Aeroccino is a thermostatic (temperature sensitive) mechanism, which automatically shuts off when it has reached its maximum temperature.
When overheated, the Aeroccino will not operate for the required time, thus affecting frothing and heating of the milk.
The Aeroccino should be rinsed under cold running water until it is cool to the touch, especially if it is to be used several times in a row. In addition, keeping the whisk clean will ensure proper heat circulation.

Fake contests that do NOT come from Nespresso Chile regularly appear.
These fake contests are distributed through social networks, email, SMS or WhatsApp and the name and logo of Nespresso Chile is used in the communication.
In these contests they offer participants the opportunity to win a machine or a discount voucher, but in reality the name of Nespresso Chile is being misused to collect personal data or people are being asked to pay to participate in a contest or to receive a service.
What should I be aware of?

To reset the cup's size buttons to the factory settings, follow the instructions below:
For Lattissima machines (F321 or F316) - with the machine on and hot, press and hold the 'standby' button until all 4 cup buttons begin to flash.
For Lattissima + machines (F421 or F411) - with the machine on and hot, press and hold all 4 cup buttons for 5 seconds until all buttons start flashing.
On all Lattissima machines the cup buttons can be individually reset. Simply hold the button down until the desired amount of coffee is served. To program a cappuccino or macchiato cup, hold it down until the desired amount of milk is poured. Then hold it a second time until the desired amount of coffee is served. The next time you use the machine you will serve the same amount.

All Nespresso automatic machines have a button to make a large (lungo) or small (espresso) cup of coffee. What you are indicating is due to a misprogramming. We recommend that you reset your machine to factory settings.
If you have an Essenza, Inissia, Le Cube, CitiZ or Pixie model machine, you can adjust the button as follows: with the machine turned off, press and hold the button for a lungo cup while turning the machine on. Release the button after 3 seconds.

It is normal for water to accumulate in the drip tray and capsule container of the machine during coffee brewing.
Brewing a larger cup of coffee or multiple cups in a short period of time will cause the tray to fill more quickly. You will also notice a greater amount of water build-up when the pump is activated without having a capsule in the chamber.

It is recommended that you descale your Nespresso machine every 400-600 coffees or, at least, every 6 months. This will help to maintain the optimal temperature and quality of your espresso.
Additionally, we recommend you let the water flow to clean the remains of coffee once the coffee has been prepared and after the capsule has been removed.

Your machine may have an air bubble. Air bubbles can block the flow of water through the spout. They usually occur if the machine is operated without water in the tank or has not been used for a long period.

Nespresso coffee makers are specifically designed to comply with the technical characteristics of each geographic region. Coffee machines sold in Chile operate on 220V, 50-60Hz only.
When a coffee machine of these characteristics is used in another country, or vice versa, there is no guarantee that it will work correctly. Coffee makers can suffer irreparable damage when used in other countries.
Repairs or power conversions cannot be carried out on coffee machines purchased in a foreign market.
Nespresso advises against the use of adapters and/or power converters with its machines, as it cannot guarantee the correct operation of our products with them.

The Aeroccino+, Aeroccino3, and Aeroccino4 models have hot and cold frothing functions. For the Aeroccino4, choose a red button for hot milk preparations. For the Aeroccino+ and Aeroccino3, when the power button is pressed and released it will illuminate red to heat the milk. When the power button is held down for 2 seconds, it will illuminate blue to maintain the milk’s cool temperature.
Furthermore, all Aeroccinos are temperature-sensitive devices. The Aeroccino must be allowed to shut off automatically. Lifting the device off of the base too early will result in insufficiently heated milk.
Between uses, your Aeroccino should be rinsed out with cold, running water, until it is cool to the touch. If not sufficiently cooled down, the device may overheat causing the correct length of time to be cut short.

What is error 766?
Error 766 occurs due to a problem when making a payment with your credit card.
How to solve it?
First you have to make sure that the card used is a credit card and not a debit card or prepaid card.
Once you have selected the credit card to be used, you must enter exactly the information that appears on the card (card number, first and last name, expiration date and security code).
If the error persists, we suggest you try with another credit card or contact the card issuer, since in certain occasions the banks usually request an authorization to make digital purchases.

Most all of our espressos contain caffeine within the range of 50-100 mg per cup. This includes Original Espressos and Espresso Lungos, and Vertuo Espressos, Gran Lungos, and Double Espressos.
Based on their Robusta content, the following are exceptions: Vertuo Espresso Diavolitto contains 150 mg of caffeine, and Original Kazaar and Nespresso Professional Ristretto Intenso contain 120 mg per cup.
All Vertuo coffees have a range of 170-200 mg per cup. Due to its higher volume, the Carafe Pour-Over Style coffee (530 ml.) contains over 200 mg of caffeine per complete capsule serving; because this particular coffee is intended to be enjoyed over multiple “cups”, this still meets our standards for the 200 mg ‘per cup’ limit.
As coffee is a “live” product, caffeine content may vary, and so we are only able to provide a range of caffeine (with exceptions as above) in order to be as accurate as possible. Also, coffees within the same size range can fall lower or higher within the caffeine spectrum: for example, Fortado contains higher levels of Robusta than other Gran Lungos, and so would contain more caffeine than its Gran Lungo counterparts.

Nespresso removes more than 99.9% of the caffeine from green coffee using two different methods.
In the water decaffeination process, green coffee beans are soaked in hot water to dissolve the caffeine.

Nespresso coffees are packaged in a capsule made of aluminium, a material that best protects the freshness of the ground coffee and can be recycled infinitely. All components of the Nespresso capsule are recyclable: not only the aluminium, but also the coffee grounds. These two components are separated before being processed. To be recycled, aluminium is simply re-melted. This process, which requires very little energy, results in no loss of weight or quality and can be repeated infinitely.
In Chile, used coffee waste is composted and used as fertilizer.
