Can you see the entire capsule? If yes, then it is a question of tilting. The possible cause of the capsule becoming stuck is that it is wet and is sticking to part of the machine interior, or that it has tilted inside the machine (above the brewing unit). We suggest using the tip of a teaspoon to gently apply pressure on the highest side of the capsule, to correct the angle of the tilt (make it horizontal). This should result in the capsule falling through the machine. Do not use your finger.
Home compostable capsules may occasionally become stuck in the brewing unit of your machine. If the lever of your machine is open and you cannot see the entire capsule, it is likely stuck in the brewing unit, so called blocking. Please do the following:
Please note: we do not recommend inserting tools into the brewing unit to dislodge the capsule as this may damage your machine. Do not insert fingers into the machine. If the problem persists, call the CRC again to organize a repair/ collection.
To reduce the chances of this occurring in the future, we recommend waiting a few seconds (at least 5 seconds) to allow the capsule to cool after you have prepared your coffee, and then slowly and gently lifting the lever to eject the capsule.
