Is there more aluminum in the Nespresso Vertuo capsules?

Vertuo capsules are slightly larger than the Original, as they contain more coffee and therefore require a bit more aluminum.

We use recycled aluminum whenever feasible and environmentally friendly. By the end of 2021, Nespresso aims to have all the capsules on the Spanish market made using 80% recycled aluminium. Additionally, we are committed to ensuring that all aluminum used in our capsules is sustainable, whether recycled or sourced through the ASI (Aluminum Stewardship Initiative).
