How can I recycle my old coffee machine? / How do you contribute to WEEE?

In the UK your waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) can be recycled for free at your local recycling centre. We financially support the national network of WEEE recycling centres established by local authorities to enable more and more people to recycle their old machines. To find your nearest centre visit the Recycle More website at https://www.recycle-more.co.uk and type in your postcode.

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK’s fastest growing type of waste. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause water and soil contamination which harms wildlife and human health. To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is marked with the crossed out wheelie bin symbol.

We are pleased to offer our customers in the Republic of Ireland the chance to recycle their old electrical items when purchasing a new item from us. Please speak to a member of staff for details on how to dispose of your WEEE item in store.
