All Vertuo coffee machines have a descaling reminder. We recommend descaling the machine once every 3 months or after brewing 300 capsules (whichever comes first). In addition to the descaling reminder, you can also check the descaling status of your machine in the Nespresso mobile app. Descaling is important as the machine can accumulate limescale over time, which can affect the flow rate, temperature, and overall brewing performance of the coffee.
We recommend descaling the machine regularly. You can order a descaling kit from Nespresso boutiques, the Nespresso online store, Nespresso retail partners, the app, or the customer service hotline (available from 8 am to 10 pm).
