Aeroccino - Whisks not spinning

If your Aeroccino’s whisk isn’t spinning, it can’t heat or froth milk properly. Here are the common causes and solutions:

1. The Whisk Is Not Properly Attached

  • Cause: The whisk may be loose or not clipped in place.

  • Fix: Ensure the whisk is firmly inserted into the center of the jug. You should feel a small magnetic pull.

2. Whisk Is Missing or the Wrong One Is Used

  • Cause: No whisk = no spinning.

  • Fix: Use the correct whisk:

    • Spring whisk for frothing

    • Flat whisk for just heating
If missing, replacements are available via Nespresso.

3. Magnet Is Dirty or Blocked

  • Cause: Milk residue or dirt may block the magnetic connection.

  • Fix: Clean the inside bottom of the jug and the whisk thoroughly with warm water and a soft sponge.

4. Burn Marks or Residue Buildup

  • Cause: Heat and milk can cause residue to build up and block the spinning mechanism.

  • Fix: Remove any brown marks with a soft sponge and gentle cleanser. Avoid abrasive materials.

5. Faulty Whisk or Magnet Issue

  • Cause: Rarely, the whisk or internal magnet may be faulty.

  • Fix: Try a replacement whisk first. If it still doesn't spin, contact our Coffee Specialist for technical help.
