If your Aeroccino’s whisk isn’t spinning, it can’t heat or froth milk properly. Here are the common causes and solutions:
Cause: The whisk may be loose or not clipped in place.
Fix: Ensure the whisk is firmly inserted into the center of the jug. You should feel a small magnetic pull.
Cause: No whisk = no spinning.
Fix: Use the correct whisk:
Spring whisk for frothing
Flat whisk for just heating
If missing, replacements are available via Nespresso.
Cause: Milk residue or dirt may block the magnetic connection.
Fix: Clean the inside bottom of the jug and the whisk thoroughly with warm water and a soft sponge.
Cause: Heat and milk can cause residue to build up and block the spinning mechanism.
Fix: Remove any brown marks with a soft sponge and gentle cleanser. Avoid abrasive materials.
Cause: Rarely, the whisk or internal magnet may be faulty.
Fix: Try a replacement whisk first. If it still doesn't spin, contact our Coffee Specialist for technical help.
