Aeroccino - Cannot turn on

If your Aeroccino milk frother doesn’t power on, here are some common reasons and quick solutions:

1. Check the Power Supply

  • Cause: Plug is not inserted properly or socket is faulty.

  • Fix:

    • Ensure the power cable is securely plugged in.

    • Try a different power outlet.

    • Check if other appliances work in the same socket.

2. Improper Jug Placement

  • Cause: The frother won't power on if the jug isn't correctly placed on the base.

  • Fix:

    • Make sure the jug is sitting flat and centered on the base.

    • Ensure the contacts are clean and dry.

3. Device Overheated

  • Cause: Multiple uses in a row without cooling can trigger an auto shut-off.

  • Fix:

    • Let the Aeroccino cool down for a few minutes.

    • Rinse the inside with cold water to speed up cooling.

4. Faulty or Damaged Whisk

  • Cause: While this doesn’t affect power directly, a stuck or damaged whisk may prevent operation.

  • Fix:

    • Remove the whisk and check for damage or blockage.

    • Try starting the Aeroccino without the whisk to see if the light turns on.

5. Internal Fault or Electrical Issue

  • Cause: If none of the above works, there could be an internal fault.
