Our coffee capsules are packed to ensure the coffee is fresh when you brew it. The unique aluminum capsule is hermetically sealed to preserve the approximately 900 aromas and flavors of the freshly brewed coffee for several months until serving.
The capsule protects the coffee from light, air and moisture. This means that the shelf life of our coffee capsules is 12 months from production date, and we guarantee 2 months when you receive your coffee.
This way of protecting and preserving our coffee, is your guarantee to enjoy a perfect cup of Nespresso coffee at any time.
If the aluminum foil on the front of the capsule is pressed inwards, this is a sign of a pressure decrease in the capsule and that the carbon dioxide has disappeared. The coffee can still be drunk, but will not have the same high quality as before.
