The caffeine content per brewed capsule will vary between approximately 60 and 150 mg for the espressos. Double Espressos contain less than 200 mg. The Gran Lungo capsules contain between 120 and 200 mg of caffeine. Our Coffee and Alto capsules contain 130 to 200 mg of caffeine per cup. The Half Caffeinato blend contains approximately 90 mg of caffeine. Finally, the decaffeinated blends contain no more than 12 mg of caffeine.
Our Pour-Over Style capsules are designed to be shared over a number of servings. Each Pour-Over Style capsule serves between 2 – 3 cups of coffee, depending on the size of cup you are using. The caffeine content per brewed Pour-Over Style Carafe is below 200mg of caffeine per serving.
The variation in the amount of caffeine depends mainly on the green coffee (Robusta contains roughly twice as much caffeine as Arabica), the amount of ground coffee in the capsule, the degree of roasting, and to a lesser extent, the coffee origin. There is no correlation between the assigned "intensity" and caffeine content.
